Microsoft Dynamics 365 works with Microsoft Power BI for Office 365 cloud services to basically provide analytical solutions and self assistance. It works on refreshing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 data which is displayed online. To work with Dynamics 365 data, Power BI Desktop refreshes data and personnel services in a new and powerful way. It makes it easier to analyze sales, services and marketing data when we use Dynamics 365 content pack for Power BI cloud services. Stated below are the instructions that one needs to follow to create Power BI dashboard- 1. First thing is to register with Microsoft Power BI. After this, go sign in and in the datasets area click on Get Data, and thereafter in the services section click on get and start by selecting from the options available i. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales manager ii. Microsoft Dynamics 365 service manager iii. Microsoft dynamics marketing 3. To go through the service manager and manager service content packs you just need to enter the specific URL, wherein the organization name appears and then click on next. In case you need the URL for marketing content pack, follow the same steps. 4. Then under the authentication head, you have to select OAuth2. 5. Now the data of your Microsoft Dynamics 365 has been completely imported and visualizations can be made easily visible. In case the content pack that you have selected does not appear in your web browser, go to the left pane of Power BI workspace and click on the content pack. But you can also customize them by downloading their. PBIX files and then using Power BI Desktop of further customization. iii. This basically helps in creating a report that displays the live condition of the connected devices on Power BI network. The second thing to do is enable the Power BI visualization tools on personal dashboards. Before you do that check on the organization wide settings. By default the embedding by Microsoft Power BI is disabled so it must be enabled in personal dashboards. And how to enable it-
